Kaveh Laksari, PhD 

Assistant Professor 

Mechanical Engineering (ME)

Dr. Laksari graduated from University of Tehran with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He received his PhD from Temple University also in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus in injury biomechanics. He then went to Stanford University as a postdoctoral scholar.

Aditi Deshpande, PhD

Aditi received her PhD from University of Arizona in 2022 and continued her work at the Laksari Lab. She leads our efforts in vascular segmentation and stroke assessment.

Amir started his PhD studies at the Laksari Lab in 2023 after receiving his undergraduate degree from Sharif University. He leads our discovering hidden mechanical properties of materials from non-invasive methods and physics-informed machine learning.
